About EEWeb
Co-founders Joe Wolin and Cody Miller formed Aspen Labs, LLC in 2007 with the goal of creating a business media company that focuses on the needs of engineers. Their first web product called “eCalc” was launched in 2008 and became an instant success among professionals and students. In 2010, they partnered with Digi-Key Corporation and launched EEWeb, a premier electrical engineering community for hardware designers.
In 2011, Aspen Labs, LLC launched EEWeb Pulse Magazine, a digital publication that highlights content from EEWeb Community.
Aspen Labs positions itself for strong growth into 2012 and beyond through the development of innovative web-based products and services.
Cody Miller, Co-Founder
Cody directs the daily operations of Aspen Labs, including finances and new product development. He is committed to the long-term growth of the company with a focus on profitability and investment opportunities. Before starting Aspen Labs, Cody worked as an engineering section manager and as a hardware designer.
Cody has a BSEE from the University of Idaho and is a registered Professional Engineer.
Joe Wolin, Co-Founder
Joe manages new product development for Aspen Labs and also helps drive the quality of daily operations. He is a passionate web designer and sees an endless opportunity for new online businesses.
Joe received a BSEE from the University of Idaho and worked in the semiconductor industry as a hardware designer and test engineer before starting Aspen Labs.
Ty Wangsness - Lead Software Developer
Ty is the lead software developer for Aspen Labs where he architects and directs application development. He graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2007 with a BS in Computer Science and a minor in mathematics and economics.
Ed Henderson - Senior Software Developer
Ed is a senior programmer for Aspen Labs where he works on new application development. Ed has an extensive technical background working as a technician, software engineer, system engineer and design engineer. Ed holds a MSEE from Boise State University.
Christine Comatos - Business Development & Marketing
Christine manages daily business development and marketing efforts for Aspen Labs. She has more than two decades of experience in marketing, sales, and product development. Ms. Comatos has managed sales for multiple startups and large companies. She holds a Bachelors of Science from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
Elaina Radon - Social Media & SEO
Elaina is in charge of social media campaigns for Aspen Labs. She interfaces with social networks, encourages member participation, and focuses on search engine placement by building strong backlinks to core company assets. Elaina graduated from Stevens Henager College with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
Jessica Shoemaker - Graphics Design & Content Management
Jessica manages the graphic design and technical editing of content for Aspen Labs. Her focus is on managing the content across EEWeb Community and EEWeb Pulse Magazine. She received her Master’s Degree in Architecture and Interior Design from the University of Idaho in 2010.
Tanner Moore - Content Editor
Tanner reviews all content produced by Aspen Labs. He ensures the articles produced for EEWeb Community and EEWeb Pulse Magazine are properly formatted without errors. Tanner earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Boise State University.
