The project was based on AVR AT90S8515 and HDSP8820 to create a bar graph which can be modified to move the light from side to side that is similar to knight rider bar.
The design of the device consists of a few parts making it very simple. Although it involves the usage of a microcontroller, creating this circuit is still easy. Along with the AVR AT90S8515 microcontroller is the HDSP8820 which has 10×10 multiplexed LEDs which is equal to 100 and then one extra overload LED giving it a total of 101 LEDs, which are contained inside the enclosure of unit.
An old AVR in good condition can be used for the microcontroller while using a piece of VERO board for providing the connection of components. The crystal oscillator can be of any type for as long as it does its function. The type of resistor can be an SMD mini melf while the wire is wrapped with Teflon.
During the process, one LED will lit up which has a size of around 1.2 mm by 0.2 mm each. The LEDs can be moved in back-forward mode making an easy light show.

2 years ago: The projects are very good.
But I cant find any links to download the projects.
Or is this site just to view the projects?
Best Regards
