The project is made to ring a bell while counting the hits that a blog will receive.
The design of the project consists of an Arduino Diecimila board and the servo motor can use any servo from a former hobby. The bell to be used should be small enough to be shaken with the servo. Two paperclips will be required wherein the small one will be used to build the actuator to ring the bell and the big one will hold the bell. Since everything that can be counted will work, a blog or a website is not really necessary. The Arduino board will be connected with the blog or website using a PC.
During the assembly, the small paperclip is used to form a kind of arm that is attached to the servo motor as the strong paperclip holds the bell. The three wires used include the brown for GND, red for VCC, and yellow or orange for signal. The orange will signal the servo in which direction to turn. The servo motor is controlled by the Arduino sketch and the counter is embedded in the blog.
