The project shows how an underwater ROV was built with video camera while the layout is based on PVC pipes.
This water submarine has been tested to be working underwater but despite of this, it will still be upgraded to more flexible platform which will include temperature & pressure sensors, torpedo, artificial horizon, AVI video recorder, sonar, compass, air lift balloons, and leak detector. A microcontroller will be required to control all these add-ons along with several parameters and sensors. The Atmel AVR ATmega32 was programmed to do PWM in BASCOM.
In the design, the center piece has a size of 4 inches and 2 inches for all the rest of PVC. The connecting pipes and the tees are also 2 inches in size. Between the 4” and 2” PVC pipe, the bilge pump motors will fit 3 on each side. For the forward and reverse motion, 2 of the 1250gph and 4 of the smaller 500gph were used. A yellow paint was made but before putting on the yellow, it should be painted with white primer. The camera and light are mounted to some long strips which can be inserted from back.
