The dual axis level sensor project was designed to provide help in various applications such as self-leveling platform, pinball, builder level, pool table leveling, and other industrial applications.
A LPC2138 microcontroller is the basis of the dual axis level sensor which is capable of providing precise positioning measurements within a few seconds. The concept of the project was formed using the pool table as an example since it has four adjustable feet that needs precise adjustment. It could bring so much problems trying to fiddle around with the spanner and trying to get the table level. No matter how many times the spanner was used, iterative adjustment will still come in the picture. The sensor system is fully-designed around electrolytic tilt sensors for the precise positioning measurements.
When the unit was made to operate, it works well at finding level and giving a number of feedback methods of current position. The basis of broad range of different type of display driving could be formed by the LCD and graphics package. The dual axis tilt sensor is coupled with Epson mobile phone display. The design will include Chip Select, Reset, and Register Select.
