Full audio power amplifier project based on six LM3886 high performance ICs providing 300 watts of power into 4 Ohm speakers.
Design uses two PCBs and each of them is holding three paralleled LM3886’s. To bridge these boards and balance the input signal, DRV134 based another circuitry is used.
SMD components are chosen to be able to design the layouts easier and make the signal paths shorter. However, PCBs become more compact and easy to built in this way.
A trimmer is provided to adjust DC offset. Large heatsinks and quality components, especially capacitors, are used. The amplifier requires a transformer rated at 2×25V 500VA.
