The project is built around the MAX6675 chip which produces the result reading to the attached LCD screen by taking and amplifying the millivolts produced by the Cold-Junction-Compensated K-type thermocouple.
Temperatures up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit can be read as received on a microcontroller by this particular unit which is hotter than being near the electronics. During the initial construction of the circuit, the very tiny MAX6675 is taken and mounted on a useable sized adaptor chip which includes the headers along with the small adaptor board, and the tiny chip. The whole circuit will be placed in a nice and neat package.
When the main chip is in the proper place, all the miscellaneous electronics will be attached to make ready for the operation. The thermocouple interface chip will be in operation after the first part of the circuit works on the LCD display. The temperature results will be placed on the LCD display after getting the MAX6675 chip to function well.
The LCD is best to be in blue color so that the result would show well and will not be blurred due to some light like the flash on camera.
