Miniature Wooden Fire Using LEDs

Figure:1

Figure 1

The project utilizes LEDs, which is often the best option, in order to create the flickering effect since they are safe for small container areas like fireplaces and emit very little heat.

Using a set of LEDs, the fire will be created which can be part of a portable table display. The LEDs will be powered using a 9V battery where a direct current was designed for use. A dollhouse lighting system or a railroad can wire a similar fire. A type of LED which can be powered by alternating current is used for hard-wired system.

During the construction, the wired LED lights are inserted under the assembly when the bottom logs are securely attached to the craft sticks. For the wires to easily come out at the back of the fire logs between two craft sticks, the wires are bent at the base of the LEDs. The bulb of the LEDs should just stick up above the top of the log by using a piece of masking tape to hold the wires while the LEDs are placed between the logs. A cellophane wrapping paper is used to create the effect of flames.
