OPA134 and PGA2310 Based 5.1 Volume Control

Figure:1

Figure 1

The project utilizes OPA134, PGA2310, black gate, and polypropylene capacitors to produce a 6-channel 5.1 volume control.

In using the device during power ON, where a Sony compatible remote control is used with the 5.1 volume control, the IR data link menu was entered by holding the left front button. The IR remote setup menu can be entered by holding the center button. The default start master volume can be entered by holding the right front button and to enter the firmware menu, the left button is held.

The OPA134 is an operational amplifier with ultra-low distortion and low noise that is fully specified for audio applications. To provide superior sound quality and speed for exceptional audio performance, a true FET input stage was incorporated. OPA134 op=amps are easy to use and free from phase inversion.

The PGA2310 is a stereo audio volume control with high performance that is designed for professional and high-end consumer audio systems. The PGA2310 is able to process input signals with large voltage swings that preserves the dynamic range available in the overall signal path because of the ability to operate from 15V analog power supplies.
