A real analog synthesizer project that is capable of providing a wide range of sounds by using two tunable oscillators.
Building the project is an easy task. You don’t need to create printed circuit boards. Everything is assembled on a veroboard.
The synthesizer is basically built by a PIC18F1220 microcontroller and a couple of ICs. It includes two tunable oscillators. The synhesizer is providing analog VCF/VCA/Envelope, sawtooth, square and triangle waveforms, cool arpeggiato and portamento.
Only a 12V single supply is needed to power the circuit.
Overall cost of the synthesizer project is 90$.
