RFID Tags Spoiled by RFID Zapper

Figure:1

Figure 1

A quick electromagnetic burst is used by this gun that flows through the tag and in return, the RFID chip is fried.

The coil is featured by the gun which is responsible for destroying the RFID tag along with LEDs and MP3 player to add effect. Some electronic devices such as USB drive can also be destroyed using a hacked flash unit that drives a 50-turn copper spool. A second flash unit in front causes temporary blindness and annoyance to humans. Even with the main CPU OFF, the gun can be loaded and fired as the flash will engage because the relay trips due to vibration, making the mechanical components working. The power consumption is around 860mA as the gun includes 32 LEDs, 3 AVR ATmega8, VLSI7000, two 7-segment displays, and 2-Watt built-in sound 4-track MP3.

The two 7-segment displays are soldered directly to ATmega8 where the orange LEDs are charlieplexed to PORTB and PORTD and white LEDs to PORTC. SPI is used to control the VLSI7000 chip and the MP3 player is a hacked Hama SD card reader/writer with MP3 player. The gun is unmodified but working Nerf N-Strike Recon CS-6.
