The Making of Ultimate Alarm Clock

Sometimes when you’re working too many hours at work it gets harder and harder for you to wake up in the morning. But it is possible for your mind to block out that your alarm is going off.

This alarm clock has so many different ways to get you to rise in the morning that you’d be covered no matter how tired you are. It is easily visible in the bedroom by having a large and bright time display along with a loud and irritating alarm.

The LCD allows the date to be displayed while maintaining a simple architecture. The output to the led and the LCD is refreshed every 30 milliseconds with the current time and date. The data for the time and date to be placed on their respective displays are calculated in similar ways. The LCD display hookup was fairly straightforward. We had used the same display before and it merely required hooking up the data lines directly to Port D, and connecting the power and ground. The alarm is driven directly from pin 0 of Port C. The keypad was being hooked up directly to Port A.
