Job Description

Design electronic circuits: including; digital, Analog, and switching power.
Design, code, debug and test firmware in the C programming language.
Specify components, printed circuit boards test methods to in house and industry standards.
Engaging in all phases of new product introduction, including concept, architecture (Sr. Electrical Engineer or LP-Band applicable), documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support
Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and Common Technology initiatives in the MR Product line
Ensuring reliability, performance and delivery through supplier relationships

Job Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
7 years engineering experience (design of electronic packaging or injection molding plastic)
Experience with design of electronic circuits, coding, debugging and testing firmware
Demonstrated experience in any of the following: digital temperature control, PID temperature control, Low noise analog signal and sub-system design, switching power circuit design and battery powered product design
Working knowledge of Mechanical and Thermal aspects of sub-system design and packaging
