The Supplier Manager will be responsible for the overall sustaining Operations of the Suppliers/Subcontractors in Asia
Key responsibilities
Manage and guide the Subcontractor performing assembly, testing, and Post Test operations of Energy Micro’s products.
Act as a technical and operational interface between the Subcontractor and Energy Micro’s headquarters site.
Provide technical expertise and problem resolution when manufacturing issues are encountered while processing Energy Micro’s products (lot dispositions, yield issues, quality issues, delivery and performance issues).
Facilitate the transition of new products under transfer to the Subcontractor along with ongoing enhancement and “change requests” of existing outsourced products.
Monitor Subcontractor performance and publish weekly performance/issues metrics for the subcontractor site.
Perform periodic supplier site audits and handle any CPAs or corrective preventive actions required as a result of the supplier audits.
Insure product quality goals are maintained to meet Energy Micro’s standards.
Work with supplier in the definition and implementation of overall line cost reduction roadmaps.
Track product assembly/test/scan yields on a weekly basis and drive ny corrective actions for improvements with subcontractors
Responsible for the overall support of the day to day planning and shipping of EnergyMicro
Bachelor Degree Required. BSEE or MSEE
Over five years in Product, Test, and/or Manufacturing Engineering. The candidate should have at least two years as a manager or group leader in a sustaining or product engineering team.
Excellent communication skills as well as detail-oriented work ethic are required.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and improved efficiencies.
The individual must have a strong working knowledge of IC assembly, testing, mechanical inspection, equipment handling, and backend of line manufacturing in the semiconductor business. A good understanding of Micro controller and RF test techniques would be a plus. Must have strong analytical and leadership skills and work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
