Aspen Labs, LLC Introduces PartSim: Online Circuit Simulator
The web-based Online Circuit Simulator allows users to design, share, and order from Digi-Key’s extensive catalog at no cost to the user
Boise, ID Oct 3rd, 2012 – Aspen Labs, LLC, a business media company in the electronics and electrical engineering industry, announced the release of PartSim (http://www.partsim.com) – a new online circuit simulator targeting both engineering professionals and enthusiasts.
“PartSim is a full-featured circuit simulator that allows anyone to create, simulate and share electronic circuits using their web browser,” said Cody Miller, Aspen Labs president and CEO. “Web-based tools offer huge productivity boosts. There are no install processes, application updates are automatic, and projects are easily shared using web links. We’ve partnered with Digi-Key Corporation to offer this tool free of charge and look forward to building a community of users.”
PartSim features a full SPICE simulation engine that supports both generic and vendor-specific device models. Simulation types include DC, AC, and transient response analysis. The application includes an integrated waveform viewer and a bill-of-materials manager that allows users to assign Digi-Key part numbers to their simulation models.
