In addition to the suite of free design, verification, and analysis tools shown below, EEWeb is the home for experienced and novice designers alike to share tips and to ask and answer questions via our forums. We invite you to voice your opinions.
Hi there, and welcome to the Tools portion of EEWeb. When I was 12 years old, I opened a television for the first time, and that was when my passion for electronics started. I celebrated my 18th birthday playing with an oscilloscope — a gift from my grandparents. I studied electronic engineering and then physics at university and I have since explored a variety of subjects, ranging from quantum mechanics to emerging applications of power electronics.
I have worked in the research field of gravitational waves. I wonder at times if someone up there has been sending us messages that we haven’t received or been able to decrypt. I think often of advanced electronic design. I always am looking for Tesla’s contributions, and I like experimenting with high voltage. “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration”.
My main interests are Power, Automotive, IoT, Digital. In addition to steering discussions on EEWeb, I am currently editor-in-chief of Power Electronics News and European Correspondent of EE Times. I have written various technical and scientific articles, and a couple of books for Springer on Energy Harvesting and Data Acquisition and Control System. I invite you to enjoy our free tool offerings and hope you find them useful in your personal and professional projects.
